Since this is a new site and I haven't gotten any questions, here is the not an FAQ.
What is the purpose of this site?
The purpose of this site is to disseminate information about fishing in Black Desert Online. The main focus is to share spawn locations for the moving hotspots. There will also be some information about regular fishing, tutorials, and maybe some sea faring adventure journals.
How can I find certain hotspot types on this site?
You can use the search bar at the top of the home page, or you can click on various tags listed on the sidebar. Each hotspot post will be tagged with 'hotspot', the fish, region, node, fishing level and contributor.
Are these hotspots also on other region servers?
I don't know. I would guess they are probably the same on EU, but I only play on NA. I have included the Google translate plugin to hopefully make the site easier to use for any non-native English speakers who play on NA, and maybe other regions too.
I have a bunch of hotspots saved, can I submit them?
Yes. I will require a screenshot of the map from directly overhead angle, and a screenshot with the catch result hover over showing the name of the fish.
How can I contact you with feedback or submissions?
In game, I play on Edan server, family name Del_Rey, main character Hippolyta. You can also comment on posts. Lastly, you may email me. The email is the first part of the url, and is through gmail.
